2007 AmCup Final Results and Banquet Information Congratulation to the 2007 FAI FF America's Cup winners. We had another year of exciting competition with excellent head to head flights to decide the top winners. Thought out the year I provided event by event key points of interests and standing changes. For this final report I will forgo this detail description mainly because there were no first place changes in with the last two contest results other than Bob Hanford's beating out the 2006 AmCup winner and current Jr World Champion Cody Secor. There was also a scoring correction in F1Q that tied Frank Pollard with Dick Ivers. Dick wins the first with a sixth contest tie breaker. Note we only break the first place ties. see the top 5 listings below. The complete standings are posted in the SEN web site-- check it out. NOTE--- We are changing venue for this year's Banquet. We will be at the Elk's Lodge in Wasco. Same location as the last Sierra Cup Banquet although we will be using the much larger main room. The fare will be tri-tip with the usual fixing. First Place winners get a free dinner, if you already paid George Batiuk, just let him know and he make it right. For everyone else: 25$ per person 15$ per FAI Jr (19 years or younger) 15$ per certified vegetarians Bar will be open at 6:30 Food at 7:30 Awards at 9:00 We will have flyers with driving dictions and maps on the web site and few hard copies at the field.
